Save Toby

Toby needs serious surgery to walk again. I found Toby and his 5 brothers and sisters as I was driving home from school in Houston. I saw 2 puppies in a vacant lot near a vacant building and decided to try and pick them up. I got some tasty chicken and went back to find there were 5 puppies. I tried to round them up but couldn't catch the scared little guys. I went back the next day and tried again. The man caring for them is homeless and his dog had the litter under the vacant house. He told me that originally there were 7 but 1 was hit by a car and the other (Toby) was missing. I offered to help him with food, water and flea and bug control. I dropped all these supplies off that evening. I went back yesterday to find that he had found the 6th puppy-Toby- and he had been injured. He thought he had been hit by a car. He gave him to me and I and a friend rushed him to an emergency vet in Houston (Westbury Animal Clinic). They took him in for X-rays and evaluation and found he has 2 broken legs and a cracked pelvis. I am asking for help for his surgery and to get his 5 brothers and sisters their vaccines and checkups , food and water. They estimated the surgery to be between $4,000-7,000. The owner of the puppies had agreed to let me vaccinate all the puppies and he has tentatively said he may agree to let me find them homes. They are all so cute and have come to trust me (probably from the chicken). Please help Toby and his family!!!







These are sweet Toby's brothers and sisters! A total of 6! Let's get these guys their shots and spayed and neutered! I went by today and dropped off food, water and 2 doggies beds.
