Family, Friends and Community:
The outpouring of support from our family, friends, and community for the establishment of “Savannah Gold Burial Expenses” fund has been overwhelming. As people began asking to donate more, we knew that we were given a wonderful opportunity to help Savannah’s legacy live on. Is response to this overwhelming support, the Savannah Gold Burial Expenses has been renamed the Savannah Gold Memorial Fund.
We want each and every person to know that your donations will go to help the family first with funeral expenses, and then all remaining funds are going to be either invested in a memorial fund in Savannah’s name and/or will be donated to organizations that were near and dear to Savannah's heart,
These organizations are:
The Jacksonville's Hubbard House, a haven for domestic violence victims,
First Coast No More Homelss Pets (local in Jacksonville)
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and
LaVilla School of the Arts (where Savannah Gold attended school).
This is what Savannah would have wanted and we thank each of you for helping to allow her legacy live on.
