WomenInternational è una piccola ODV, organizzazione di volontariato no profit impegnata in progetti educativi, formativi e di sostegno alle donne, in Tamil Nadu, Sud India, nella consapevolezza che la costruzione della pace nel mondo richiede anche i nostri piccoli passi.
Nata come progetto di istituto, in una scuola superiore di Udine, questa OVD ha nel cuore e nella sua missione la formazione e l’istruzione come capisaldi per il rinnovo della società, con particolare attenzione ad una piccola comunità nel Tamil Nadu con la quale sono già stati realizzati molti scambi culturali. Essi hanno coinvolto emotivamente i partecipanti , i volontarie e le volontarie, gli allievi e le allieve , gli insegnanti e le insegnanti e hanno arricchito tutti di conoscenze e affetti lontani.
WomenInternational è impegnata nella costruzione e nella manutenzione di una scuola nella foresta , la Sathya School. Abbiamo realizzato il piano terra , fino ad ora, e iniziato il primo piano che deve essere completato.
Crediamo che tutti i bambini e le donne meritino posti sicuri in cui studiare e continuare a sognare , progettare il proprio domani, e nei quali possano scoprire, mettere in luce e attivare i propri talenti per realizzarsi individualmente e socialmente.
Il nostro obiettivo è di cercare di non lasciare nessuno indietro, ma di camminare mano nella mano verso un futuro migliore.
Siamo consapevoli che non tutti hanno l’opportunità di fare volontariato lontano, però tutti possiamo essere volontari , offrendo sostegno e condividendo i nostri ideali.

WomenInternational is a small ODV, no profit Voluntary Organization, committed to educational, formative projects supporting children and women in their emancipation , in Tamil Nadu, South India, aware that the construction of peacein the world needs also our small steps.
Started as an Institute project in a High School in Udine, this ODV has in its heart and in its mission formation and education as landmarks for a renewal of society, with special attention to a small community in Tamil Nadu, with which various international exchanges have already been realized. They have emotionally involved the participants, the volunteers, the students, the teachers, enriching all in knowledge and far away affections.
WomenInternational is engaged in the construction and maintenance of a school in a forest , the Sathya School. We have built the ground floor, so far,and started the first floor that has to be completed. We trust that children and women need safe places where to study and dream, project their own tomorrows and in which to highlight their own talents in order to realize themselves as individuals and in their society.
Our objective is to try not to leave anyone behind, but to walk hand in hand towards a better future.
We are all aware that not all have the chance to participate as volunteers , moving to so far away places, but we can all be volunteers just supporting and sharing our ideals.
