Sara's Medical & Living Expenses

On June 30, 2014, exactly three years from the day my husband Mark died in a tragic motorctcle accident, I awoke to an early morning voicemail from my only daughter, Sara. She left me a message in the middle of the night explaining she was being admitted again at Tampa General Hospital as her airway was severely compromised. Sara made many calls trying to get in touch with anyone in the family to let us all know she was being placed in an induced coma so they could place her on a ventilator. It was a very long time before I heard my little girl's voice again.
We raced to Tampa General that morning and spent the better part of the next few months sitting at Sara's bedside with member's our exteded family who helped us ensure she was never left alone during this crisis. I listened to that voicemail of her tellling me she loved me over and over while she was in that coma during the next three weeks.
Sara has now recovered from the nasty cancer that ravaged her body and she is still healing. Sara managed to beat the odds and kicked cancer's ass! But Sara will always need medications, monitoring, continuous medical care for her conditions and lifetime cancer screeenings. She has Social Security Disability Benefits in the amount of $900 monthy but who can live on that. She shares an apartment with her brother, Anthony and a friend but they have been informed they have to move out by the end of April. Sara and Anthony need to find accomodations they can afford on their limited income and pay for all moving expenses.
