Making Ends Meet Each Month

My daughter Sam went into the hospital with severe anemia on March 7th of 2014. A few days later the doctors diagnosed her with MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome). She then developed AML (Acute Myelod Leukemia) that she underwent ten days of chemotherapy that ended on April 11th of 2014. We are awaiting a lifesaving bone marrow transplant through Dana Farber in Boston. We are still waiting to make sure that one of the two donors are still able to be her match.

As a single working mother, I have had to return to work while she is in the hospital in Worcester to save my time to be with her when she comes home and is admitted in Boston for her transplant. I spend my days at work and most nights at the hospital; this has been a drain on me financially and physically. Commuting, parking, eating, car maintenance, buying Sam food, lotions, gifts, projects to keep her distracted have already drained my account and have put me on the verge of losing my heat/electric, internet access and phone services.
So far, my medical bills have been covered with my employer sponsored insurance and assistance from MassHealth which I am so grateful for; this is one less thing to worry about.
I have never been the type of person to ask for money and/or help, but on this, I really do need help. I want to be able to be with my daughter when she comes home and also be with her through the transplant procedure; this could be months for us without an income.
Please find it in your heart to donate even a small amount to help a Mom be with her child.
God Bless.
