Samantha Broussard Funeral Expenses

Donation protected

Dear friends and family,

It saddens my heart to say Samantha Marie Broussard passed away suddenly and tragically in the early morning hours of November 27th, 2017.

At the youthful age of only 29 Samantha has gone home to be with her heavenly Father. She is now free of all earthly pain, struggles and burdens of life. She leaves behind her sons Jack and Gabe, her brothers Will and Nick, her sister Krystal and her Mother Kristine Moss of Moss Bluff.

Due to the circumstances of her untimely passing a full funeral is needed. As you can imagine something so unexpected has placed a heavy financial burden on Samantha’s family. They are pleading with the community of Moss Bluff, past and present friends and family to donate any amount they can, to give Samantha the proper burial she deserves. The supplemental funds requested is $5000.

Words about Samantha from her Sister:
Samantha was our baby girl. We lost her father when we were young. It was up to the 3 of us (my brothers and I) and my mom and mom’s family to take care of her.  We all loved her dearly.

As we drove to go see her yesterday and my brothers followed closely behind, I remembered the day she was born.  We were actually in church on that Easter Sunday in 1988.  My mom’s water broke and my brother Nick was mortified, because he thought she had peed on herself (lol).  I remember mom rushing us out of church, back to the station wagon.

Once Nick and William realized what was going on …. I think they thought they were going to get to drive.  I was 7, so that meant that Will was 9 and Nick was almost 11…. So that was a no go.  Eventually some equally pregnant lady, from the church, helped us all get to the hospital.

Her father and my grandmother joined us at the hospital.  We waited, for what everyone (but me) thought was a baby boy.  I had told my family the whole time I’d been praying for a sister and that mom was going to have a girl.

After being raised with 2 older brothers, I really wanted a sister soo bad.  And… the next day April 4th 1988 I got my sister!  And she really was such a girl!
As a little girl she loved music and dancing.  That never changed.  I remember her putting on different outfits and dancing in the living room. I remember one time when she dressed up like Madonna.  She also loved the song “She Drives me Crazy” (by Fine Young Cannibals) and she would hop around the living room like they did on the music Video. She was such a happy and beautiful little girl.

She always liked playing hair and makeup. She always liked music and dancing.  She always loved her family and everyone around us.  She loved her dad.  She also loved our dad.  She loved her boys and she loved her best friend Brittany.

She really did love so many people that it would fill the page.  I thank all of you for being in her life and I pray that our family heals from this loss.

I also have to mention that mom’s friends have been so wonderful over the years. I know that she never would have made it with the 4 of us, without the wonderful group of friends she has in our community.

This loss was very unexpected and we are pulling funds together for the services.  This still leaves my mother with the lion’s share of the expenses.  We would sincerely appreciate any help.

Sincerely,
Krystal
