Sam's new trombone

Hello! My name is Sam Amore and I am a freshman studying classical tenor trombone at the Manhattan School of Music. Playing trombone profesionally has always been my goal, and as I further my education and skill set, raising money for a new trombone is the next step I must take.
So far my career has been wonderful. I have played in multiple youth orchestras in Wisconsin such as the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO)where I developed my love for music. In addition to MYSO I also love to teach trombone to young, aspiring students.
As you can imagine, when my trombone professor Colin Williams mentioned that it is imparitive for me to get a new horn as soon as possible, I was a little taken back as a freshman in college. This is good news and bad news. The good news is that a lot of the problems with my playing can be fixed with a new instrument. I have been studying with Professor Williams for about a month now, and many of the problems I am practicing to improve upon can be attributed to my current trombone. For example, my current horn has an extremely stuffy F attachment, causing my low register to suffer. However, discovering that I need a new horn wasn't exactly music to my ears.
My mom has raised me alone since I was a baby, though, she unfortunately was recently laid off, leaving us with no income. I have worked through high school as a private lesson teacher and I just took a job at MSM, which will cover my necessities, but simply isn't enough for a new trombone. Having been raised by a single parent and working most of my life, I truely appreciate any money you can share with me.
Every dollar donated would mean the world to me and will help me pursue my dream. My playing will improve tremendously faster, and I will no longer be held back by my equipment.
