Sabrina Needs Your Help With Medical Expenses

Greetings Members of the village. This appeal is being made on behalf of our sister and friend Sabrina Carten. As many of you may know, Sabrina has had difficulty walking for a long time.
The severe pain in her left hip while walking, standing or sitting resulted in her not being able to walk without using a cane. Those of you that know Sabrina will know that she was devestated by this.
Being physically incapacitated in this way resulted in Sabrina having to turn down musical opportunities as well as business opportunities because she was physically unable to perform.
Sabrina had hip revision surgery the day after Thanksgiving. Due to unforseen complications during the surgery the procedure was a lot more of a challenge. A typical hip revision surgery takes 2 1/2 -3 1/2 hours, Sabrina's was a few minutes shy of 8 hours. Praise God, Sabrina's surgeon was able to complete her surgery without it becoming an amputation.
After 6 days in the hospital she was discharged to a rehabilitation facility; where she has been ever since. The recovery period will be slow but hopefully steady.
Though she is hoping to leave the facility soon, Sabrina will have to continue physical and occupational therapy for an, as of yet, undetermined time.
Sabrina is very thankful for family and friends who have supported her through this journey; from visits, to Thanksgiving dinner, cards, making sure she wasn't alone on Christmas and just healing love and light. Though Sabrina has made wonderful progress, this is only the beginning. It will be some time before she is able to return to work or performing.
Through this journey Sabrina's medical, transport and living expenses have continued to grow.
We are asking on Sabrina's behalf for your financial assistance to help meet these challenges.
