Help Me Become A Software Engineer

Donation protected
All I want for Christmas is to be the change I wish to see in the world by becoming a Software Engineer. Instead of gifts this year, I'd love for you to help me make my dream come true.

---------------------------

A couple of months ago, I applied for admission to the Hackbright Academy. Hackbright Academy runs a quarterly 10-week accelerated software development program designed to help women become awesome programmers. At Hackbright women learn the fundamentals of computer science and modern web development.

Yesterday I found out that I got in!

In lieu of any Christmas gifts this year, I'd love your help in making my Hackbright and Software Engineering dreams come true.

---------------------------

But Erica, don't you have a job at...?
I sure do. However, I'm not a Software Engineer there, so disavow yourself of any notions about how much money you think I make.

Tell me Erica, what will you be using the money for?
Everything up to $15,000 will be used to pay for Hackbright.
Anything beyond that will be used for hookers and blow. If no hookers and blow are readily available, I'll settle for spending on food and rent while I'm at Hackbright. Maybe a Surface tablet, since people I know swear by them for note taking in classroom environments.

While I don't foresee this being a problem, a really excessive amount of donations will be re-donated to the Ada Initiative.

Come on Erica, I taught myself how to code overnight by osmosis and video watching, surely you can too. Why do you need to go to Hackbright?
Oh man, I am really envious of you. Alas, I am but a mere mortal who learns best in small instructor led classes, with hands-on application of the knowledge shortly after receiving the instruction. Attempts to teach myself how to code have failed miserably, which is one of the reasons I'm SO excited about Hackbright.

I'm concerned with your lack of Facebook verification, Erica.
I'm concerned that you've outsourced your ability to judge trustworthiness to a 3rd party, dear reader. Also, I don't have a Facebook account, but you can find me on Google+, Twitter, Tumblr, and a whole slew of other places online.
