Bring TECH to Rural Kids in Kenya

Donation protected
We believe that access to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) can help level the playing field for all children.  Many schools in rural Africa, have little to no access to technology.  We want to change that.

In partnership with the Safaricom Foundation's  youth  47 in 1 Initiative, we believe we can make traction. 47 in 1 aims to build a solar-powered computer lab in a public school in each of the 47 counties in Kenya, which would increase access to STEM education. The program involves students, parents, and teachers by training them on computers.   The Program also drives ownership and accountability to the community, by having parents run part of the project.

We are a group of women that do hands-on work to bring STEM to Africa, The Middle East, and Central Asia. Our recent experience seeing the potential of the children in rural Kenya, motivated us to do more.
