Venom Baseball from San Marcos

Help Us Get to Cooperstown!!

Please consider helping San Marcos Venom get to Cooperstown, NY, next summer! For a 12 year old baseball player that will be an experience of a lifetime!  San Marcos Venom is affiliated with San Marcos Youth Baseball and consists of players from San Marcos and Carlsbad.  Most of these kids have been playing baseball together since they were 5 and 6 years old, and they call Mission Sports Park their home.  The team has committed to attend the Cooperstown All Star Village Baseball Tournament in New York the last week in June of 2018.  They will be playing competitive baseball with other teams from all over the United States. While there, the team will be able to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and the players will be inducted in the Youth Baseball Hall of Fame.  This experience will provide a lifetime of memories!

The team has raised the majority of the money needed to go with the help of support from CSU - San Marcos and other fundraising initiatives but we still have not reached our goal.  As you can imagine, this is a costly trip (likely to exceed $1,600 per player) which includes entry fee and travel expenses.  That is why we are reaching out to all of you... Our family, our friends, friends of friends: just about EVERYONE!   We would be extremely grateful for any amount you donate to help support our team. No amount is too small... EVERY CONTRIBUTION COUNTS!!!
