School Supply Giveaway
The 12th annual School Supply Giveway and Community Night will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd at Shawnee Worship Center in Vienna, Illinois. Organizers are planning to serve nearly 400 students and their families through providing them with school supplies, clothing, food, haircuts, dental exams, and professional pictures. Families will also be served by local community organizations and agencies who will have a presence at the event.
In 2016, the school supply giveaway served 330 students from ten different counties - nine in Southern Illinois and one in Western Kentucky. This is a truly regional event and one of the largest "family-serving" events in our area.
This year, we need your support more than ever as we plan to serve nearly 400 students. Each bag of supplies costs an average of $10 each.

WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING
All donations are tax deductible and go to Shawnee Worship Center, an affiliated organization of the United Pentecostal Church International. As such it is covered under group exemption number 1411 as a 501(c)(3) organization with the Internal Revenue Service.
