My name is Ray Chavez. I am almost 53 years old, I have lived a wonderful life with my wonderful family. I have three daughters, a granddaughter, and five grandsons. I love being able to take them fishing and camping, it brings me such joy.

This year I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a rare blood cancer. I am currently in my first session of treatment, doing chemotherapy. I will have at least three sessions until I can do my stem cell transplant, which is my only chance to beat this. In order for me to recieve my stem cell transplant I have to move from my home in Casper, Wyoming to Denver, Colorado so I am closer to my hospital.

I was recently laid off from work and I have lost my health insurance. Money is already tight since I bought a trailer house and property last summer. It needs a lot of work for it to be suitiable for me to live in. My girlfriend, my daughter, and my grandson curently live with me.

With your help I will be able to pay for my medical expenses, establish residence in Denver and keep my trailor in Casper. Any help is greatly appriciated, keep me in your prayers and I will keep you in mine. God Bless.
