Thanks for visiting! Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will make a big difference in helping Sandy get back to good health and restoring her quality of life. As many of you may know, Sandy (Mom), was recently hospitalized for a bad bout with emphysema this summer, which she was slowly recovering from. However, only a month after being home she had an attack of diverticulitis, a perforation of the bowels, that nearly took her life. After spending a month in the hospital, and enduring multiple surgeries, she is finally in a rehab facility, trying hard to recover. Of course the medical bills are already starting to pile up, but we need to keep her home for her, get much needed medications, supplies and equipment that she needs during her recovery. Please be as generous as possible, as this is one angel that we want to keep here a little longer. Great news: Medicaid funding has been secured to help with medical bills. I have revised the goal to reflect the change. Thanks to all who help!
