"Sebastian Loves Peanut Butter"

Stuart Locklear & I, Jeff Ingram, created A Miniseries Production in 2011 on a shoestring budget and vivid imaginations believing that we could use 12 inch dolls as our actors to tell our stories. If you haven't guessed yet, all of our sets and actors are in 1:6 scale.
Every detail of this film from books to door frames has been created and produced in 1:6 scale or 'Barbie' sized. The Characters are Integrity, Mattel, Triad or G.I. Joe figurines that have been altered in one way or another to fit the character.
After careful selection from several scripts, Stuart Locklear & I, jeff Ingram chose our 6th short film project, "Sebastian Loves Peanut Butter" , an animated film and modern love story with a hint of comedy and science fiction.
This script is very personal to me and ever since I wrote it a few years ago, it has been my dream to tell this story. It explores the connection of Sebastian's past and present that could leave his future in disaster or 'happily ever after'. As one character enters Sebastian’s life and suddenly threatens to turn it upside down, he must navigate through what appears to be a life and death scenario, but for whom?
Although there are over 7 different sets in the film, the majority of "Sebastian Loves Peanut Butter" takes place in his second story brick loft building and we guarantee you will have to watch it several times to catch all of the tiny details.
Our first effort, “La Fontaine” , turned into a 4 part miniseries (10 minutes each) about a dysfunctional family. We really began to understand what it meant to film on such a small scale (1:6 scale) paying so much attention to the smallest of details. While filming the series, we were asked to make a film for the San Francisco International Fashion Film Festival.
“Saffron” , a futuristic peak at the gray existence we may be headed for, explores the bravery of a woman who goes against the grain of society and in an alternate world, then her slow descent into madness. After several screening and film festivals requests, we realized that what started as a tiny art gallery in my living room, seemed to be receiving a good amount of attention.
As A Miniseries production increases the quality of the film work, it will also grow as a company producing larger small scale productions and features. A Miniseries Production hopes to be featured on Adult Swim, Funny or Die and LOGO. Not only would Stuart & I like to continue to be part of film festivals globally, but would also like to make short advertising films for some of the leading 1:6 scale doll companies such as Mattel and Integrity toys.
These films are more than just a labor of love that we have solely funded ourselves until now. People seem to be touched and amused by our stories, so we feel that it is our duty to continue to surprise our audience with bigger and better production.
