Funds for our student's funeral

One of our student's lost his life in a horrible car accident. While on his way to school Friday morning, 8 year old Levi sat properly buckled up in the back seat of his parents car when just two blocks away from school, a drunk driver sped through a red light and T-boned Levi's car sending it spinning out of control where it then also hit another car. The accident was actually caught on camera and has been all over the news. It is difficult to watch the video, especially knowing that young sweet Levi did not survive the crash and his parents are in the hospital with a long recovery road ahead of them. 

We are all shocked and saddened by this heartbreaking news.
Levi has attended our school since kindergarten, and his older brother just graduated 5th grade from our school this last year. Both have made impactful impressions at our school and in our hearts. Levi was truly an amazing special boy. Kind, respectful, smart, caring, helpful, funny, a great friend, a model student, and the kind of child every teacher who encountered him knows that they are lucky to have him in their class and in their lives.

We are collecting donations to help the family with funeral and hospital bills.  We are hoping to ease some of the financial stress that comes at times like this, so that they can better spend their energy grieving, healing, holding their other son, and remembering Levi.
