Help Villalba, PR Rebuild

Help us contribute to advancing Villalba and the Rosado Family back to normalcy!

To start, we wish to raise $10,000:
-$5,000 for our uncle to help rebuild his roof/interior of his home.
-$5,000 to go towards rebuilding efforts in Villalba

We are the Rosado family living in U.S. mainland. Our family is distraught seeing the recent string of natural disasters. We have been especially impacted by the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria to the island of Puerto Rico. The majority of our family has been impacted by this hurricane.

We want to raise funds to help our family and the town of Villalba rebuild.

Given that supplies have taken long to be distributed and it is unknown how much will eventually reach the town of Villalba, we have been researching the best way to provide support to our family and beloved town. We decided raising funds to help rebuild is the best method. The funds will help our uncle rebuild his roof and the damages inside his home. In addition, we will use the funds to help provide other family members and the town of Villalba with the materials they need to sustain/rebuild. We have direct communication with our cousin, Humberto, who lives in Trujillo Alto, PR, and will make sure donations make it to where we direct it to go.
The Rosado family have been integral members of the Villalba community for decades. Our father/grandfather, Adrian Rosado, served as mayor in the 1970s.

Adrian Rosado and Juanita Diaz were humble community servants their entire lives. They passed on the passion to serve to their 12 children and future generation. Thus, our burning desire to help our family and the community of Villalba sustain and rebuild.

As of October 2, 2017, there is no communication or electricity in Villalba. We know that our family members are alive. We know that brother/uncle lost the roof of his house. We also know that the hurricane caused a lot of damage to Villalba. Following are images shared by Univision on Facebook:

The town of Villalba is 37 square miles with 27,073 residents (2010 Census data). Villalba is known as the town of the advanced people for it was the first town in Puerto Rico to have a hydroelectric plant, electric power, telephone, piped water and toilets since 1893.
