Ronan's PDA surgery FUND

Meet Ronan one of my most recent work failures.... Ronan came in to have a heart murmur check three weeks ago from a breeder. He is a beautiful charcoal Labrador retriever. What we initially thought was a heart mumer was so bad the breeder wanted him to be euthanized. While I was holding him something in me sparked. She looked at me and said " well you can just have him" I couldn't say no. I thought to myself if he dies at least he will be in a home where he is loved and not seen as a pay check. Ronan surprised us. The fluid on his chest was gone in a few days but as weeks progressed the mumer was still there it wasn't getting worse but it wasn't getting better either...We had a specialist come in and look at his heart. Unfortunatley Ronan's heart murmur is actually patent ductus arteriosis . A hole that is supposed to close when a puppy is born. Ronan's never did. Looking at Ronan you would think he is an ordinary puppy. It saddens me that such a great dog was seen solely as a dollar sign and not for the wonderful soul he is. Ronan needs me, and I need you. The estimate for his surgery is around $2,500.00 at a specialty clinic in Russellville Arkansas. ANYTHING is appreciated. Please share and get Ronan's story out there!
