Roman Thompson- The Leader in Me

My name is Roman Thompson, I am in my seventh grade year at George E. Peters, Seventh-day Adventist School and have been selected to attend the Leadership Summit: Leadership in Action at Harvard University, Summer 2015, through the organization People to People(www.peopletopeople.com) 

People to People was founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956 with the goal of providing educational travel for students across the globe and is one of the world's most recognized and respectable educational travel providers featuring leadership development and college preparation opportunities. 

This opportunity will award me the privilege to participate in an exclusive leadership curriculum and learn to LEAP(Lead, Engage, Act and Plan) to my future. I will also be given a chance to develop leadership qualities, prepare for college admissions and learn how to serve the greater good.

I know I will be forever changed by this experience and it will set a strong foundation for my academic journey.
