Help us to support Rogers Park!

Support the Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce

We are taking the appropriate steps to fulfill our Mission and Vision, and we need donations to continue our work supporting our neighborhood businesses, organizations, institutions and residents, who are our constituency.

Needs:

We are reaching out to our constituency, friends of the Chamber, our supporters, and our angels. Please consider donating to our worthwhile cause.

What we are doing for our community:

The Chamber has an extensive Membership Benefit program, which includes touring the neighborhood with our Business Well-Being Checks, in support of our storefront businesses and to assess our community.

We have been an Advocate for our local grocery stores and restaurants, and their employees by taking a public stance to #CanTheTax as part of the Can The Tax Coalition.

President Bill Morton, traveled to the Back of the Yards neighborhood (11/8/2017) to meet with the Midwest Workers Association at their headquarters to find a solution to poverty in the Rogers Park neighborhood.

We assisted author Samantha Nelson with small business suggestions and taking a walking tour of Rogers Park for her RedEye article "Neighborhood guide: What to eat, drink and do in Rogers Park" (published 11/16/2017).

We built a solid relationship with Northeastern University, speaking at their Alumni Association Member Appreciation Night (8/23/2017), and International Management class (9/15/2017), also attending their Fall Festival,  NEIU Foundation's 10th Annual Meeting (11/13/2017), participating in their Business Job Fair (11/16/2017) and radio interview on WZRD (11/20/2017).

We joined with the NEIU University Honors Program at the North Park Village Senior Apartments at 5801 N. Pulaski Road to help at the Apartments' annual St. Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas dinners for the residents.

We are offering free Traveling Notary Public services as a Membership Benefit.

If you already donated, we thank you, and hope that you can donate again.

Appreciatively,

Bill Morton, President
