Rob's brain cancer fight

Donation protected
On the 1st of March 2018 our happy, lovely friend Rob suffered a brain haemorrhage.

Just two weeks before this, Rob and his partner Pam celebrated the birth of their baby boy Finn, along with their other two year old son, Jackson.

It has now become clear that the bleed on Rob’s brain was due to a tumour.

This page has been set by myself, Kirsty, but on behalf of Rob's 'London' lot. Specifically those who went to University with him and lived in London when he did.  We now all live around the world, but are still connected and see Rob and Pam regularly when they come to visit.

Rob lives in Nairobi with his family, where he has been receiving medical care, but the goal would be for Rob and family to get back home to the UK to start the hard work of cancer therapy, physiotherapy and rehab.

Rob, Pam and the boys, along with their families and friends now face the toughest challenge of their lives and we would like to help support them by raising money.

Rob is an amazing partner, friend, brother, son, and father. This news has devastated so many people all around the world and has left poor Jackson missing his dad and Rob missing the first special weeks of little Finn's life - something he was so excited about and will never get back. This should be the happiest time for Rob and Pam, but Rob is an incredibly strong and determined person and we hope by mobilising as much support as possible we can get him back by Pam’s side with the boys.

The funds will go towards anything that will help Pam and Rob, from everyday living expenses to medical and rehabilitation costs.
It will be used mainly to pay for the rental house that Pam and the family have. Medical treatment at present is covered by the insurance company, however that cover could run out and Rob is not initially covered by the NHS as he's been out of the country for 5 yrs.
The money will go directly to Rob's dad, Alexander Eric Moore, who will withdraw on Pam and Rob's behalf and they will work out best where and how it will be used.
Updates will be given as and when they are possible.

There is uncertainty ahead and we are at the start of this journey but we know it will be a long one and any donation will be massively appreciated, used well and we hope with all our heart, bring the family back together.
