Well, about 3 weeks ago I had a routine mammogram. They did an ultrasound of both breasts and later that week a biopsy that showed IDC stage 3, grade 3 triple negative breast cancer in both breasts and under my right arm. So far I've gone through multiple tests and procedures. I start weekly chemo treatments on July 7th, that will lasy for 20 weeks. During this time I will not be working. After I complete the chemo, I will have a double mastectomy then 6 weeks of radiation. Of course the bills don't stop, nor does taking care of my 3 precious boys.
