Rob's Cancer Recovery
Donation protected
In July Rob Saunders was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer of the appendix after having an emergency appendectomy. On August 29th he had surgery to remove a tumor from his colon and mucus that was in his entire abdominal cavity and covered organs within the cavity. We are still waiting for the final pathology report. It is possible he will have to go through 2 months of chemotherapy. This would mean he would have to be off work an additional 2 months.
Rob does not have an sick days nor disability because he began a new job in May. He does not have the required one year with the company. He will be unable to work during this period as the chemo can cause fatigue, nausea and drop in blood counts. The donations will be used to make the house payment, pay bills and provide food and other household necessities.
Funds can be used as soon as possible so the family does not get behind in their payments. The family will be appreciative of any help they can receive.
