Hello everyone,
This page is for my daddy, who is our everything, our hero, our rock, our patriarch, and our love! He's a wonderful man and has a heart of gold! He's the best papa to our children and the greatest father anyone could ask for! He's animal lover and knows the best places to eat. (Perks of being a truck driver) He has helped so many and continues to put others before himself.
So when we received the news that he had stage 4, Diffuse Large Cell Lymphoma cancer, to say we were emotional would be an understatement. We were confused, sad, mad, devastated but we know that if anyone could beat this it would be our father! He has proven to be one of the strongest men we know. He has endured so much but always prevails and comes out stronger than before. We know with the Lord and all of the support we have received in the last couple of days he will beat this!
As a truck driver, he has sacrificed missing birthdays, anniversaries, and/or holidays to provide for his family. Our father has always been a hard worker and has never needed to ask for help till today. This new chapter in his life was unexpected. We could have prepared a lot better for this but as most we never expected to be in this predicament. He was under medical care for almost a year and his cancer went undetected till after his surgery. Unfortunately, medical and necessity bills have started to fill up our mailbox and has caused a financial stress on our family.
As a truck driver you do not receive the same benefits as you do in most professions. In order to receive a pay check you must remain driving over the road. My father will begin chemotherapy December 6, 2017, therefore, he will be unable to work. Which means he will not be receiving a paycheck till he returns to work. So during this time we ask that you keep us in your prayers and visit my father to keep his spirits high!
We ask that you continue to share this as we need all the help we can receive! We are truly grateful for each individual that has reached out to us! It means the world to us!
