As many of you know, my beloved Mom, Rikki Johnston, unexpectedly passed away on July 2, 2017. Rikki was a loving person who lit up the room with smiles and laughter as soon as she walked in. She was a hard working Mother who was adored by those who met her. Rikki was always one to push to make others happy, she was kind hearted and caring, and proud of those she had in her life. She was an incredible Mother to her two kids, and an amaing and loving Grandmother.
With her sudden passing at the age of 45, there was never any funeral arrangements discussed beforehand. My younger brother and I were left to make tough decisions, and in the end chose to donate her body and her organs to the Donor Alliance, where she could save up to 7 lives, and impact over 75 others.
She will be greatly missed by not only all of her family and her friends, but by everyone's life that she has ever touched. I am here making a fundraiser for cremation and memorial expenses. Any donation, share, or kind word is greatly appreciated in our time of loss.
