What a perfect way to describe our friend and colleague, Richard! His unique sense of humor, commitment to family, incredible work ethic and his love of sports (#PenguinSuperFan) are just a few of the things that make him so unique, special and hilarious!
Unbeknownst to many, Richard had been experiencing severe back pain for many months. He recently underwent surgery to alleviate the pain and after the surgery, Richard and his family received some devastating news. Richard has been diagnosed with Angio-Sarcoma, a cancer so rare that there are only 50 known cases in the world! He is 1 in 10 Million people suffering from this type of cancer. There is no known cure. The hope is the Doctors can kick the cancer into remission. Richard continues to battle and has been in and out of the hospital many times. He is now suffering from a fractured back due to his bones weakening from the high doses of Chemotherapy.
