Richard Bridges Medical Fund

As many of you know, my father, Richard Bridges received 2nd and 3rd degree burns over his torso, neck, arms and face in an explosion at his residence on the morning of Wednesday, February 21st. My father was alone and able to put the fire out and call 911 for help. He was ultimately transported to the Wake Forest Baptist Memorial Hospital in Winston Salem. We are happy to report that it appears that dad will recover, but he’s got a rough road ahead of him. We are hopeful that many of the bills will be forgiven or reduced – but dad will require a lengthy stay in a rehabilitation facility after he’s discharged from the hospital. It will be a long time before he’s able to financially support himself and my two nieces. Any contribution – no matter how little, will go a long way toward getting him on the road to recovery.
