Ri Arm Farm for Anne Heyman
Donation protected
Dear All,
Due to an unfortunate riding incident, we were forced to say goodbye to our dear friend, Anne Heyman, on January 31, 2014. Being the angel that she is, Anne did not fail to leave a gift in her passing. In her efforts to make the world a better place, she founded a youth village for victims of the Rwanda genocide- Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village for orphaned and vulnerable youths. The Village is designed to care for, protect and nurture the children orphaned during and after the genocide in 1994. The children of ASYV thought of Anne, not only as the woman who provided them with a second chance, but as a mother as well. She will be remembered in their hearts and ours for the rest of our lives. Even so, in an effort to honor Anne, we at Ri-Arm farm have decided to support her legacy. Each year for the month of January, the Ri-Arm Farm Facebook group will post an opportunity for you to donate under the Ri-Arm name, with all of us as a group we will send in the accumulated contribution at the end of the month. By doing this as a group we are comforted and encouraged by our friends; also, we are reminded that we are all connected by doing something that we are passionate about, just as Anne was passionate about both riding and her cause. We think of Anne not only as a fellow equestrian, but as a member of our family. We welcome donations from anyone, and to any extent.
With love
