Repair and expansion for Isaac & Doug's vert ramps

Hello all, Isaac Martinez and Auby Taylor here. We are now at nearly a year to the day of the re-surfacing of Doug’s Vert Ramp with Gatorskins. A big thanks to Garrett w/ Gatorskins for working with us to obtain the surface. A huge thanks to Doug for allowing us to repair and re-surface the ramp and for helping with the purchase of the material. Finally a massive thanks for all the skaters who donated their time, tools, money and sweat to getting the project done! Doug’s countless contributions to the Austin skateboarding scene have been all out of love and anyone who has met him knows this. Also now in the works is the expansion of Isaac’s backyard ramp, making it 28 feet wide! Isaac has been a huge factor in our growing vert scene here in Austin from his own backyard hosting his weekly Wednesday night and and Sunday day sessions. From providing skateboard equipment and safety gear for beginners to his own out of pocket contributions for his own ramp and Doug’s as well, we have much to be thankful for. We are starting this Go Fund Me in hopes to be able to pay Doug back for all of his help and also for other additions such as painting the decks, updating the railings and better lighting, also to pay for removal of the graffiti inside the warehouse where the ramp sits and to replace it with a large mural of one of our very own, Texas legend, Jeff Phillips who was recently inducted into the Skateboarding Hall Of Fame and who’s memory continues to inspire us all today. This Go Fund Me also will be to help Isaac’s efforts for the expansion of his ramp which will include lumber, surfacing, and permanent lighting. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, both ramps host many sessions for all levels from first timers to heavy hitting pro sessions. The biggest donation will receive a signed Auby Taylor Image Kid board! We are constantly striving for a better vert scene here in Texas for all age groups and disciplines and especially in its capital city, Austin! With new ramps popping up in Dallas at 4dwn and soon to be in Houston we are getting ready for a new contest series reminiscent of yesteryear. Texas is the reason… let’s show the rest of the world exactly who we are…  TEXAS!!!
