Greetings
All,
My name
is Henry Adewale from The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), last year I
told myself that the upcoming New Year would be a new beginning for me; one
where I was going to do more for God and grow spiritually. That's why I am very
passionate about seeing youths and young adults just like me delivered.
I have
teamed up with five other young and vibrant Christians who share the same
passion for seeing youths and young adults in our community doing the work of
God. In coming together and seeing a need for youths and young adults to hear
the word of God, gave birth to the idea of hosting a program to minister to the
youths and young adults
The
program is called "Returning to our First Love" and stems from
Ecclesiastics 12:1.

of the event are as follows:
Friday
(June 7): Forum Night - "Remember our Creator" (Ecclesiastics 12:1)
Saturday
Morning (June 8): Outreach Program - "Go Ye Into The World" (Mark
16:15)
Saturday
Evening (June 8): Praise Night - "Night of Undiluted Worship" (John
4:24)
Sunday (June 9): Thanksgiving
Service "“ "O Give Thanks" (Psalm 136:1)
Our
Vision: To reenergize
the youths and get them on fire for God, while building a Godly relationship.
Our Goal: To plant a seed in the youth
through this event that will eventually germinate and save souls.
Our goal
is to minister and teach the youths and young adults in the Northeastern region
to remember their creator in the time of their youths. For youths and
young adults this is the right time to start to develop themselves spiritually
and grow in the word of God. With this program we hope to highlight this need
and also show youths and young adults how to live their lives for God.
We are
super excited about this event that takes place on June 7th through June 9th,2013. We are already planning on
having many Christian ministers from Texas, Massachusetts and New York.
Research
on funding this program (i.e. hotel and flight arrangements for ministers,
refreshments for program attendees, items for program attendees, advertising,
etc.) has shown us we will need $5,000 for the program. With God nothing is
impossible so we are not discouraged by the amount needed to fund this program.
This is
where you come in; as the program is only two months away we ask for your help
through prayers and in donations. We will need all the help we can get and your
contribution in prayers and donations will help make this event a success.
We want to save souls and this program is one way in which we can accomplish
that. You sowing a seed will help in bringing youths closer to God. We want to
get the Youths to experience God like never before, and anything you can
do to help would be greatly appreciated.
