Makawao Merchants Association (makawaomerchants.org) is the non-profit entity that oversees Makawao Third Friday Town Party, (FB -- look for Makawao 3rd Friday Town Party). We are one of the 5 Maui Friday parties on the island of Maui. (MauiFridays.com).
Please join us in our “Raise a Tent Campaign”! Having our main stage tent collapse under heavy Makawao rain and wind in December, gave rise to the need to raise a new tent! Thankfully, nobody, or band equipment, got hurt!
Whether it’s an eccentric art show in Lahaina or a paniolo party in Makawao, each town creates an authentic atmosphere including great food, stellar music, and local vendors!
Both residents and visitors greet the weekend with a special night of Maui culture, friendly faces, and free entertainment.
At Makawao Merchants Association we’re a small group of store merchants that are dedicated to giving back to our local community. The support of Maui County, along with other non-profits and volunteers has helped us host monthly parties all year long. Each and every one of your contributions, no matter how big or small, help make these wonderful community gatherings possible.
The Makawao Town Party presents the upcountry lifestyle to our Maui visitors and residents alike. There is no other location on Maui that could better represent the rich paniolo, ranching, a cultural and artistic history that makes up our unique town. We invite individuals or businesses to become a sponsor and share, promote and celebrate our unique town. Join our Ohana of thriving community members and merchants today and show your Kokua for our Makawao town!
Sponsors to the new tent will enjoy their business logo being displayed on the tent, with thousands of views from locals and visitors and being shared on social media.
