Studio E Art Therapy Program
Donation protected
Hey everyone,
In my life and family's life I have seen all the sides of epilepsy through my brother Eli. The times when things were good and seizures weren't happening for awhile and the times when things were bad and seizures were a daily occurence. There is so much more research to be done to help people with this disease that I always want people to have awareness. However the point of this campaign is to provide some type of relief to those that do have it. When Eli was still alive he participated in a program called the Studio E Art Therapy Program at Froedtert Hospital. This program was free through the Epilepsy Foundation Heart of Wisconsin, as a way for people suffering with epilepsy to find relief and comfort either by being surrounded by people who knew how you felt or by being able to express yourself through whatever artwork you wanted to produce by the end of it.
As I said before this program is free through the Epilepsy Foundation of Wisconsin. That being the case I thought this would be a way to honor Eli and that program. So my goal is to raise $1,000.00 to donate to pay for the art and craft supplies that they use in this program before Eli's anniversary (July 15th, 2017). I saw the impact that this program made on Eli and would love to be able to help other people get the feeling that he did while he attended.
Thanks for reading my story, if you don't wish to donate at this time, please just help us spread awareness of epilepsy and ways to help.
Thank you all!
Tori
