Portland Superfan Calendar

"It's fine if you're a female and you want to be a super-fan. Clearly go for it, that's your choice. But there is something to be said for how appealing that might be to the other sex. Having a woman that's such a fan, like painting your face, tuning in to every podcast. I don't know how many males would be into that.

"It's great that in Kansas City there are a lot of women in the stands, it's great, but for the guy who wants maybe a serious relationship... If you are following just casually, but if you're such a die-hard, I don't know, it comes a point that it is a bit of a [I don't want to say] turn-off..."

The women of Portland are super, and we are also die-hard Timbers fans, so that must make us "superfans." Consequently, a group of us ladies have assembled our collective superfan-ness and have decided that there must be a calendar to celebrate the female soccer supporters of Portland. We are your mothers, sisters, wives and aunts; your accountants, strippers, factory workers and soccer moms. And we are true fans of the beautiful game.

In order to begin this venture we are seeking donations to offset printing costs. Our goal is $3,000.00, and everything donated above actual printing costs will be donated to the Harper's Playground Fund (http://harpersplayground.org/). In addition, all proceeds from calendar sales will also be donated to the Harper's Playground Fund:

Donations between $ 25.00 and $ 49.99 will receive a calendar signed by all the girls in thanks, and donations of $ 50.00 or more will receive a VIP invitation to the release party with time and location TBD.
