HUMC Cancer Foundation Fundraiser

     At some point in our lives, all of us have been, or will be, affected by cancer—either a personal battle or helping a loved one with the disease. Besides the physical and emotional tolls, fighting cancer can be an enormous  burden on your entire family. We have decided to start a fundraiser for a local Cancer Foundation that has been Celeste's and many other's "Angel" during her battle with Lymphoma. The head of the foundation was instrumental in expediting Celeste's diagnoses and rapid treatment plan at HUMC. She has also become an inspiration to Celeste, a mentor, and a supportive friend during this time.


    Celeste is currently prepping for her fifth chemo treatment at HUMC. Her final treatment is scheduled for mid-October.  As many of you know, she is a school psychologist at a local elementary school. She is selflessly devoted to her profession and absolutely loves positively impacting the lives of her students.  She is currently out of work  and is not expected to return until after the new year. 


     On October 7, Drew University is hosting a #RainbowForCeleste Soccer Support Day on their beautiful Madison NJ campus.  Drew has put together a fun filled day of events to bring together the local community to support Celeste, a former Drew Ranger woman's soccer player. There will be food and drinks also available at the event.
