Projecto para crianças na natureza

Olá,

O meu nome é Zoe e eu tenho uma ideia muito interessante, mas preciso da vossa ajuda.

Falo-vos um pouco de mim, primeiro.

Eu cresci no campo, numa zona muito bonita perto de Coimbra, rodeada por uma família de músicos, animais e Natureza.

Desde criança que sempre senti uma ligação muito forte com outras crianças, normalmente mais pequenas do que eu, queria sempre estar a cuidar delas, garantir que as fazia rir e sentirem-se bem. Estar rodeada de bebés era a minha felicidade, sendo eu a mais velha de 7 irmãos poderá dizer-se que não foi uma infância triste, longe disso! Essa conexão e carinho têm me acompanhado sempre ao longo do meu precurso de vida, trabalhando como monitora em colónias de férias, babysitter, animadora infantil, etc. Quando fiz 20 anos decidi viajar até Los Angeles (Califórnia), cidade onde vivi durante 6 anos, foi uma experiência incrível! Entretanto senti uma grande necessidade de voltar a Portugal, ás minhas raízes. Quando voltei, em 2014, vivi em Lisboa durante algum tempo e depois nasceu a minha filhota, Naroa, em 2018. Nessa altura a vontade de voltar a viver no campo já estava bem presente nos meus pensamentos, até que chegou o ano de 2020, veio a pandemia e eu decidi finalmente voltar para a aldeia, agora com a minha bebé, e que boa decisão! A minha filha ainda não tinha dois anos e eu estava a adorar vê-la florir no mesmo vale onde eu cresci, entre árvores, rios e hortas.

Eu, como mãe solteira, tenho muitos sonhos e ideias, alguns concretizados e outros tantos que quero também concretizar, com muito orgulho da mãe que sou, não tenho dúvidas de que vou lutar sempre para ir ao encontro do melhor que me é possível, tanto para nós, para a Naroa como para todas as crianças do mundo mas, vamos começar aos poucos, com algumas crianças, por um futuro feliz.

Ver a felicidade da Naroa, juntamente com as minhas memórias de quando era criança, a viver livremente na aldeia fez-me sonhar. E assim vos partilho este meu sonho de criar um projecto para crianças na Natureza, uma comunidade de aprendizagem, onde possamos crescer, aprender, brincar e sermos criativos juntos.

Hoje em dia é tão importante inspirar as futuras gerações em preservar e manter um contacto saudável com a Natureza. Eu acredito que ainda existam muitas crianças que não têm o privilégio de, por exemplo, sentir a terra com os pés descalços, apanhar amoras selvagens e/ou observar os pássaros no meio dos castanheiros. Para mim foi, e será sempre, uma das formas mais naturais e felizes de se crescer, e todas as crianças deveriam ter a possibilidade de experienciar esta maravilha!

Com este projecto eu quero ter a possibilidade de explorar plantação de árvores, apanha de frutos selvagens, prática de hortinha ecológica, entre outros, promovendo o respeito pelo meio ambiente. Quero também desenvolver o contacto social e multicultural entre as crianças através de arte e actividades educacionais inspiradas nas metodologias Montessori, Waldorf e Escola da Floresta; sem deixar de parte a importância de explorar as tradições e costumes locais incluíndo as mesmas nas actividades do projecto.

Há algum tempo atrás eu encontrei o terreno perfeito para o projecto, fica situado no mesmo vale onde cresci, na zona centro de Portugal. Este terreno pertence a uma senhora vizinha muito querida que está disposta a vendê-lo.

Poder comprar este terreno e criar este projeto na natureza será um dos meus maiores sonhos realizados, sonho este que já me vem acompanhando há anos, principalmente agora que tenho uma filha, entendo muito mais a necessidade de o pôr em pratica !

My name is Zoe and I have a really cool idea but I need your help.

First let me write a little bit about myself.

I grew up in a beautiful valley in Central Portugal, surrounded by my family of musicians, animals and Nature.

Ever since I was a young girl I always felt this strong connection with other small children, always felt the need to be around them, care for them, that was (and still is) one of my absolute natural state of happiness. Being the oldest of seven brothers and sisters might have helped developed this connection and affection that has always accompanied me throughout my life as I worked as a children camp monitor, babysitter, children animator, etc. When I turned 20 years old I decided to travel to Los Angeles (California) where I lived for 6 years, it was a great experience. Then in 2014 I decided to move back to Portugal, and lived in Lisbon for a few years, thats where I became a mom in 2018. Ever since I became a mom I always felt the need to move back to the country and raise my daugther in a similiar way of how I was raised and thats when 2020 pandemic year arrived, then I finally decided to move back to the valley where I grew up, and what a great decision that was!

My daugther was almost two years old and I was just so happy to see her running around in Nature. Me a single mother with dreams and ideas, some of them fulfield and others still to fullfill, I'm very proud of the mom I've become and I will always fight to find the best for us, for Naroa and for all the children in the world, if possible but lets start from the begining, with small steps for a happier future.

Seeing such happiness in Naroa mixed with my own happy memories from when I was a child, running around made me dream...so, let me share this dream with you.. I want to create a children project in Nature, learning community, where we can grow, play, learn and be creative together! Nowadays it is so important to inspire the future generations into be more in contact with our Nature and to learn how to keep the land and forests as beautiful and wild as they can be, while preserving their natural environment. I believe not all children have the possibility to, for example, be able to feel Nature barefoot, harvest wild berries and/or observe the birds in wilderness. For me that was, and it will always be, one of the most beautiful and happy ways of growing up, I want to create the opportunity for our children to experience this amazing adventure by exploring tree planting, wild fruit harvesting, ecological gardening and more, while promoting respect for the environment. With this project I also want to develope social and multicultural contact between children thru art and educational activities inspired by the methodologies of Montessori, Waldorf and Forest School; without negleting the importance of exploring local traditions including them in our project activities.

I am very happy to say that a few weeks ago I have found the perfect piece of land to make that possible!

The land is located in the same beautiful valley where I grew up, surrounded by Nature, in Central Portugal and it is for sale by a very sweet local lady. To be able to buy this land and create this idea means the absolute world to me but, a dream come true, but it means even more to my little daughter and to all children that will be a part of this project for our future generation!

In conclusion, we need to create the best environment in Nature for children to be happy, to learn and grow into the best version of themselves while preserve our wild and beautiful Nature !
