Preparing for this winter

Hurricanes, fires, serious medical conditions are all the things that need to be addressed and I know that.  If I had the funds, I would be helping those in need right now however, I've been unemployed and living below the poverty line for over a year now.  I need assistance urgently so I don't have to rehome Cato and Marty and all three of us can make it through this winter.  Thank you for reading my story.   My sincerest gratitude to the friends who have helped me so far.  God is going to bless you for blessing me.  

In 2014, I moved in with my Dad to be his primary caregiver so he could die at home.  I really didn't think he was going to leave us but he did.  Pancreatic cancer took his life.  He refused to have anyone come in to help us so I literally was his caregiver up until the very last month when hospice took over and he agreed to have someone come in a couple times a week.  I would not trade that time with him for anything.  It was the most important work I have ever done for anyone.  On the day he died, I couldn't let go of him and there are many times still to this day that I ask God to bring him back.  Yes, I am still in deep mourning.  

I stayed in his home after he died in order to protect his property, close his estate with probate and maintained the same routine he kept in caring for his cat Cato and dog Marty.  Both Cato and Marty are rescues and they were my Dad's friends.   I love them.  They are now all that I have.  We live remotely in a rural place in the middle of nowhere in Connecticut.  

I had a full time job in 2016 and loved it.  I was good at my role as an onboarding specialist in East Hartford.  Then last year my mother's health declined rapidly.  I couldn't juggle full time work and flying back and forth to Chicago.  It was a tough balance but in the end on the day she died, I was there with her, holding her hand as she took her last breath.   I quit my job due to the stress of everything and have been unemployed and living on a small annuity each month and a minor paycheck of $80 to $150 every two weeks.

If you can help, here are some of the things I need help with. 

I know this doesn't seem like a priority but I have no one to help that hasn't helped already.   This is a year that I am pressing to get through and I thank you in advance for considering my financial needs.  

I don't pay rent but I do need to keep an old dilapidated house from imploding upon itself.  There is a lien on the house that I inherited because I am not able to fully pay the property taxes. 

I owe approximately $4000 in back taxes for the house.   

$700 propane for the winter
$250 for firewood
$185 for chimney sweep

I have exhausted everything to survive.  Since the middle of 2018, my major credit cards have been closed, I owe thousands in property taxes,  and I am very torn with rehoming Cato and Marty and relocating vs. staying in place until I can get my financial situation restored.   
UPDATE:  I FINALLY HAVE A FULL TIME JOB.  It is a temp job at a real office that utilizes my skills!  That is not just a coincidence but a real miracle.  Hallelujah.  

For the first time this year I have been able to breathe.  Just breathe without holding my breath and worrying about things.
