Bryce's Journey to Beating Leukemia

As some may know, (and many may not), a little over a week ago Bryce was taken to the Palmetto Health Children's Hospital because of severe pain and the inability to sit upright, stand, or walk. After numerous tests, and several days in the hospital, on March 13th, 2018 our baby boy Bryce was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). Initially, it was devastating. Mind crippling. We could not fathom that our boy, our son, was diagnosed with such a thing at the age of 3yrs old.  Its something no parent ever wants to hear. But as Isaiah 53:5 says, "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.". And I believe with all my heart he will be healed. In Jesus Name. 

As a result, Bryce has began chemotherapy treatments to treat the Leukemia and is scheduled to continue them for several months going forward. This diagnosis came 2 days before we were scheduled to relocate to the DMV area as his parents had accepted positions in Washington, DC. Of course this has put a hold on the move, as well as I, his mother, will be no longer able to work. I will be the primary caregiver for my son during this time. We have been contacted by several friends and family members wanting to help, so we have created this GoFundMe to help with expenses associated with his future care, as well as his transfer to the Washington National Children's Hospital in a couple weeks.
