New School Year, New Young Dreams

Ponce -- my hometown and Puerto Rico's second city -- was hit hard by Hurricane Maria. While basic services are starting to return, as the new school semester approaches in January, many school children don't have their school supplies.
Join me in providing one hundred elementary school children in Ponce with a backpack filled with the following items (as suggested by the local schools):
-Notebook
-Pencils
-Pencil Sharpener
-Crayons
-Coloring Books
-Ruler
-Ring Binder
-Three-Hole Paper
-Erasers
-Glue
-Construction Paper
-Pencil Case
Each filled backpack will cost $43.72 -- and my goal is to provide 100 of them by mid-January.
In addition, the money will be spent in the local Puerto Rico economy to further provide relief to the community.
This is a very personal cause for me. I am extremely grateful my family survived the hurricane, and look forward to helping others bounce back after this natural disaster.
