Polyglot Conference, Budapest

This is a non-profit venture to bring together expertise in the language world, combining theory and academic topics for people interested as well as practical learning tips and ways to implement knowledge in the real world of work.  We aim to offer all of this under one roof as a means for learners to meet, share knowledge, promote good will projects, such as saving minority languages and helping to build bridges in communities of various ethnic and linguistic heritage.  The presentations will be recorded and shared freely on YouTube and the legacy of each meeting will live on in activities that continue in the longerterm to promote language learning.

We are looking to cover the costs we cannot avoid for the Polyglot Conference in Budapest on 18-19 May 2013.  These costs include the venue, the set-up costs for the non-profit organisation in the US for future events and some refreshments for the event in Budapest itself.   All other aspects have been covered by the language community on a voluntary basis.

We appreciate any donation you can offer for this  cause.
