Please Help Jonah Fight Colon Cancer

Jonah is truly our hanai son, ohana through and through. Greg taught him in one of his first classes at Waimea HS over 24 years ago and they have been like father and son ever since. When I pull into my driveway and see Jonah's car my heart and voice literally sing! I love this guy with all my heart.
Just 3 weeks ago, Jonah ("Mini") went in for a colonoscopy after suffering from a few days of stomach pain. Less than a week later, on Tuesday December 22nd, Jonah was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that had also traveled to his lungs and a kidney.
The Christmas and New Year holidays caused several delays in getting answers. His chemo port was installed on 12/30 and he was supposed to start his chemotherapy on 1/4 but had to be flown to Oahu for emergency surgery. The tumor had started to completely block the colon so instead of starting chemo yesterday he had surgery for a temporary colostomy bag.
They expect him to stay on Oahu for at least 1-2 weeks and he will be at the hospital for the first week, get his PET scan and meet with Dr. Clayton Chong, who I've heard is the BEST in the islands for this type of cancer. They want to shrink the tumors before removing the tumor in his colon.
If you know Jonah from growing up on Kauai, surfing the globe, working at and winning the Employee of the Year at the Hyatt or just randomly meeting him with his one and only beautiful smile, you know he is one of the warmest, family and friend focused, optimistic people around. His laugh is positively contagious. He is always the first one to step up to support his family and friends. I am personally doing everything I can to support Jonah by fundraising for his medical assistance, and make sure that Jonah's health and recovery is the primary focus.
I truly believe in the power of prayer and focused healing energy/thoughts. Please pray for Jonah's complete and radical remission. This place needs people like Jonah, they make the world go around.
