Peter Banfield's Medical Expenses

Last November 30th, Peter Banfield suffered a severe heart attack immediately after playing at the Guthrie on the Green Christmas lighting, in downtown Tulsa, Ok. Thanks to the heroic actions of the Tulsa Police Dept, local paramedics and emergency room doctors, Peter survived the initial trama of 20 minutes without a heartbeat.  Now, after surgery, a week in a coma, 20 days in ICU and 25 additional days in a hospital bed Peter is on the long rehab recovery road.

Thank God Peter is alive and with us.. however, he has suffered Anoxia (brain damage due to lack of oxygen) and requires additional heart surgery. The stack of bills is already overwhelming with no end in sight.

Peter is a loving father, loyal friend and gifted musician playing and teaching guitar in the Tulsa area for years.   Check out this video of  local news doing a story on how Peter's students have started fund raising to help their teacher and friend.
