Hello,
I am Peggy Gray, Licensed Massage Therapist/Alkaline water distributer with 30+ years experience.

I just opened up Rose Clinique in a great location with a lot of traffic.   Rose Clinique is a wellness center with Massage, Skin Care, and down the road hopefully a RN, or Acupuncturist,(no harsh chemicals allowed) 

However, those of you that know what it is like to open up a small business, know what additional costs creep up and can over whelm that initial plan.
 
Added to losing another therapist due to an injury, 
Sunday, March 8th, 2015, on my way through the parking lot at church, I totally missed the patch of black ice and fell.   As I went down I  heard and felt the inside edge of my right foot crack up and touch the inside of that calf.

I now have 12 pins and a plate holding my leg together.  Broke the Tibia, Fibula, and Calcaneous bones .   Lower third of Fibula is in several pieces.
Doc says absolutely no weight bearing for at least 6 weeks.  They had to leave a large chip off the heel with the hope that scar tissue will reattach it do the foot. after that, therapy and a slow train back to work.   Also after the iinitial shock and pain of the broken bones eased a bit, it became obvious that I had in deed hit my head and am fighting a concussion as well.  Nausea, double vision, confusion, forgetfullness today on what we may have talked about 5 minutes ago, let alone yesterday.  

Unfortunately both my house rent and the rent for Rose Clinique are still due and payable.   The doctors do not think I will be back full time for several months,   Least amount for rent between home and business is $2020.00, then add on utilities. 

While I am normally a pretty strong person and I am working to get off all pain meds as soon as possible,  I am realizing now, that realistically,  the next six months are going to rather tough financially as well as physically.   

The church has liability insurance that will cover the first 15,000 of my medical bills, but already because I do not have any personal insurance, I was turned down for rehab and any in-home help.  So far the medical bills I have and those I have been told to watch for are going to add up over $100,000.00

Even if I am accepted for the local CICP program, the surgeons office does not accept that, so I will still owe many thousands of dollars.   I have signed an agreement to pay $50. per month and will do so.  I am not sure what I will owe the hospital and other providers after insurance.   Most will accept the insurance, but I am finding many will not.

I am humbly asking you folks if you could at all see yourself helping out finacially.  The amount I asked for would cover both my home and office rental  expenses for that period of time.  I will continue to search for addtional renters at Rose Clinique. 

I promise I will spend wisely.  I promise I will keep an accurate accounting of the monies, I promise I will get back to work as quickly as possible, whether it is for an hour a day at first or however long I can handle it.   I promise you that I am a survivor and will not waste time nor money in getting back to work.

I also promise that if there on funds left over, I will pay it forward.   God has blessed me in so many ways,  and up until now I have been blessed to be able to pay it forward. It is tough to ask for help.
