Flood Relief for Pensacola Pearce Family

On April 30, 2014 my family's life changed suddenly along with many others in Pensacola, Fl's Flood. My parents subdivision Bristol Creek was one of the hardest hit. I have pictures and a video posted.  My parents home was destroyed along with their cars. As of right now hardley anything was able to be saved. My parents are without a home, clothes, cars or even a place to stay. The water was 6 feet high in the house. They were rescused by boat along with my 84 year old Grandpa Marv and thier 4 Boston Terriers. Everything in the house was floating. Thank god my family got out and survived!! They got turned away from 2 shelters because of the dogs. Finally the one they found shut down after just 2 days of being there. So my husband and I went and picked up the animals to get them to a save place so my parents could focus on rebuiliding their life. It's so sad what little stuff they do have people are looting, stealing and breaking into the houses. My mom and dad are always the first to help anyone else !!! But this time they are the ones that need help!!! They will never ask for help so I am taking the initiative to help them. Anything at this point will be a blessing!
