Carolyn Resnick's Mother's Cancer

Besides being diagnosed with End Stage Dementia last December and working through the trials that the brain and body put my mother through daily, my mother has now been diagnosed with cancer and is going through the trauma and pains associated with this as well.

Everything right now is about keeping my mother comfortable and out of as much pain as possible. We are asking for financial assistance in order to keep my mother at home with me during this final stage of her life. We have hospice and they are wonderful, but we also have to employ a caretaker 24/7 to take care of my mother. The medical costs are astronomical and insurance doesn't cover anything since Hospice is involved.

I am spending as much time as I can with my mother and have cut back tremendously at work to help take care of her and be there for her. Therefore, my income has decreased and the bills have increased.
