Please help Paul fight pancreatic cancer.
Our son, Paul, 47 years of age suddenly got sick on August 7, 2017. On August 9, 2017, he went to after-hours clinic and was sent to ER. After X-ray there, he was referred to a specialist. After several tests (MRI, biopsy, etc.), he was diagnosed with Stage IV Adenocarcinoma of the Pancreas with metastasis to the liver. He has insurance but the costs are beginning to increase on treatment. He is going to M.D. Anderson on September 19, 2017, and is hoping to be approved for a clinical trial. He and his wife Karen have been married 12 years and have 1 child, Jack, who turned 8 this past April. Jack loves his daddy so much and knows he is really sick with something growing in his tummy. He knows it is called cancer but he doesn't fully grasp the seriousness of this terrible disease.
The medical bills not covered by insurance are beginning to arrive. He has to travel to and from M.D. Anderson every 8-10 weeks. The trip is quite expensive since Paul lives in Gonzales, Louisiana. We know there is no cure for pancreatic cancer and surgery is not an option since it has metastisized to the liver. If you can help in any way financially, it will be much appreciated and all funds will be applied to Paul's medical expenses.
Please keep Paul, Karen, and Jack in your prayers and Thank You.
