Kicking Cancer For Pat CVICU Style!

Our beloved co-worker, Pat, has recently found out that, after being cancer-free for ten years, it has returned with a vengence and has spread into her bones.  Pat has been an Inova employee for 18 years and has worked in the CVICU at Fairfax Hospital for 10  years and as her work family, we want to support her in whatever way we can.  Pat will be starting chemo this coming week and will have to be out for a few weeks up to a couple of months.  Every week, Pat has to pick up overtime just to make ends meet.  The money donated will go directly  to her to help cover whatever expenses arise from her being out of work to include medical costs, after insurance.  Down the road, Pat is also going to need to  have to have a bone marrow transplant and because we love and support her, her work family is going to be working with Be The Match to host a bone marrow drive..details to follow.  Please, any type of donation will help to ease her mind of upcoming financial responsibilities and let her focus on getting better.  We love you Pat!
