UPDATE (3/6/2020): Praise God for the good news that Pastor Manumbu's master's thesis has been approved and he will graduate from Uganda Christian University on May 8. In order to graduate, Pastor Manumbu needs prayers and financial assistance of $361 for clearance fees by March 21. See picture. (This includes $212 for transportation, $50 for food & accommodation for 4 days, and $105 for a graduation fee.) Rev. Zachariah Inja Manumbu is my personal friend. He served as the Pastor of an Anglican Church where my wife and I worshipped during our mission service in Musoma, Tanzania 2011-2012. During that time he was a great help to us with handling cross-cultural issues.
Rev. Manumbu is personally aware--as too many of us are--of the damaging effects to Christ's church, the harm it can do to his body and its reputation when the wrong people are staffed or end up leaving because they are not well suited for their jobs.
For this reason, Rev. Manumbu's passion is to help the church (and society) adopt better hiring principles, make wiser hiring decisions, and be able to better retain the people they've hired. He would also like people to find positions that match their gifts and skills that they will enjoy and desire to keep doing and advocate for fairer wages.
That is why Rev. Manumbu is pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resources at Uganda Christian University in Mukono, Uganda.

His Anglican Church is partially supporting his continuing education which he hopes to complete in 2020.
