Parsons Peeples Project

Tragedy can strike at any time. We are really not able to plan or prepare for tragedy. Fire, for instance, is one example of a unexpected tragedy that can destroy homes, land and lives. Fortunately for the Parsons family, they made it out with their lives; the unfrotanute part is they lost everything. Including family memories and belongings that not only belonged to two hard working parents, but also a son that just returned from serving in the US Air Force and is now in the nursing program, another son who is also enrolled in the nursing program and still wants to be called a SEAL one day, and a daughter who is just beginning her college experience.

Their home was insured, and will be replaced, but as of today, they do not have a place to call home and no belongings to call their own. While their memories are no longer something they can see outside of their mind, their Faith and Hope are untouched.

Amy and Joseph Peeples are both Paramedics serving a large area of the east Texas community. Amy has worked as a flight medic also. Both Amy and Joseph are in supervisory positions with their company.

The "kids" (who are all college age), are smiling even today because they were taught "the good stuff." They know that a family bond is all they need for survival, and have survived on very little at some point in their lives.

As paramedics, Amy and Joseph would never expect a favor for doing their job. Just the same, Treston Parsons would not expect favors for serving 4 years in the USAF and I know when he and his brother, Tory Parsons are working as RN's, they will never expect gratitude for giving. However; we live in an amazing community and I have seen the power of community support before. I think any help we can give to this amazing family would be appreciated. All donations received through this GoFundMe campaign will be provided to the Peeples/Parsons family to assist with getting back on their feet. Tory lost all his school books and other things in the fire, so that's where he needs help most, because he will be back in school regardless of the fact he has no house to go home to or clothes to call his own. This family will make it, and any act of kindness through donation would be forever appreciated by all of them.

I started this campaign without their knowledge, so this is nothing they have asked for. I have known this family for over a decade and consider Treston, Tory and Tyler Parsons my siblings. Amy is like the second mom we all have in our lives. And Joseph is just a great guy all around.

Joseph Peeples, Amy (Parsons) Peeples, Treston Parsons, Tory Parsons and Tyler Parsons are all deserving people of support from this wonderful community they have each served or plan to serve in some way.
