Fondos médico para el Papa de Yuly

Pictured above is both the home and family run convenience store of the my wonderful friend, Yuly whose father has operated tirelessly seven days a week up until recently, when he suffered a cerebral infarction. As a result, he has been hospitalized for over a month at the cost of the family. He has undergone several life threatening surgeries and now requires extensive and very expensive home adaptations, treatments and therapies which are not covered under health care. Not only are they facing substantial medical costs but their family business has suffered as a result. Yuly’s father still remains in critical condition and has limited mobility and speech. 

Yuly and her entire family immediately adopted me into their family as if I was one of their own when I moved to Bogota six months ago. They are extremely kind, generous and hard-working and deserve all the help we can provide through this extremely difficult time in their life.  Please provide any relief that you can; any little bit will help!

Arriba está la tienda de artículos para el hogar y la familia de mi maravillosa amiga, Yuly, cuyo padre ha trabajado incansablemente siete días a la semana hasta hace poco, cuando sufrió un infarto cerebral. Como resultado, ha estado hospitalizado por más de un mes y aún permanece en la actualidad. Se ha sometido a varias cirugías que amenazan la vida y ahora requiere adaptaciones en su hogar  y  tratamientos y terapias en el hogar extensas y caras que no están cubiertas por el plan de atención médica y que serán por cuenta de la familia. No solo enfrentan costos médicos considerables, sino que su negocio familiar también ha sufrido. El padre de Yuly aún permanece en estado crítico y tiene movilidad y habla limitadas.

Yuly y toda su familia me adoptaron inmediatamente como si yo fuera uno más de la familia cuando me mudé a Bogotá hace seis meses y no conocía a nadie. Son extremadamente amables, generosos y trabajadores, y nadie merece su ayuda urgente más que ellos.
