PANTANAL FIRES - Emergency Appeal to help Animals

PLEASE DONATE to help animals suffering in the Pantanal fires currently ravaging the world’s largest tropical wetlands in South America with little coverage from mainstream media.

These fires are bigger than the California fires and the world is largely unaware. Animals are burning to death. Humans deliberately set these fires to clear land for cattle grazing and wild animals are paying the price. 

Funds donated will to go those on the frontlines fighting these fires and saving these animals. I am an animal rights activist (a_lallie_2 on Instagram) who has devoted years to helping animals in need and raising awareness of their plight.

Whenever I fundraise for animals, I always do thorough research to ensure that our donations go to those on the ground directly helping animals (local rescues, individual volunteers, veterinarians, grassroots organisations) as opposed to big organisations where our donations will just get swallowed up in administrative costs. 

SOS Pantanal is one such non-profit who have teams on the ground battling the fires and saving animals and I’m currently liaising with contacts to get the details of the local vet practices who are actually treating the animals as I know they will need and benefit from our funding the most.   Any additional funds will go to Panthera, which is the leading organisation caring for Brazil’s jaguars. I’ll provide updates on my Instagram page.
